Stories We Tell Ourselves includes the world premiere of a brand new song cycle created in response to and celebration of the 200th anniversary of ‘Schubertโ€™s Die schรถne Mรผllerin’. The contemporary song cycle has been devised and performed by the Lewisham Creative Chorus (LCC), a community group formed out of the Lewisham Urban Opera project, part of the Lewisham Borough of Culture 2022.

Meanwhile, Schubert200 explores a new arrangement/production of Schubertโ€™s first song cycle from 1823, which will be released on Rubicon Classics later in the year.
