Now it’s getting exciting! We are leading up to the preview performance of the Lewisham Urban Opera taking place on Sunday 3rd July with a special narrated show taking place at the Homestead Café Courtyard at Beckenham Place Park on Sunday 3rd July at 8:00pm (performance to start at 8:30pm), and a mini dress rehearsal taking place at 4pm at the Green Man.
‘Our Street’ is composed by Gwyneth Herbert in collaboration with our participants and creative team. The preview performance will feature the Endurance Steel Orchestra and The Gwyneth Herbert Jazz Band.
We can’t wait to share some of the work we have done and share the journey with our friends, family, project partners and VIPs. It has been a busy time for everyone, so a relaxed, generous, and celebratory Preview evening will be our aim for Sunday.
