Following a week of committed and energetic rehearsals at our home at The Fellowship Inn, Bellingham, we were delighted to bring Our Street to the stage at the iconic Broadway Theatre, Catford.
This brand new people’s opera by Gwyneth Herbert, was created and brought to life by a wealth of professionals and our community for the citizens of Lewisham. Saturday 20th July saw its premiere in full in front of a packed house at the Broadway Theatre in the heart of our home borough, and broadcast to the world via livestream. It was received to rapturous applause, a standing ovation, and rave reviews from audience members.
