We’ll Meet Again

Music and Theatre for All began the lockdown by bringing people together in the wonderful song Where Have All The Flowers Gone, to help raise much needed funds for Help Musicians.

Featuring over 120 people, you can watch it here (don’t forget to bring the tissues!):

It has been viewed online over 17,000 times, has raised important funds for Help Musicians, has been featured on radio and in the press, and has made it in to the BFI National Archive.

Now we are organising another #LockdownSong, in anticipation of the end of lockdown, when it comes, and we would love you to join in!

Stars from the music world, the NHS, and hundreds of children have already submitted contributions to We’ll Meet Again and we want as many people as possible to sing alongside to help celebrate with Vera Lynn and Katherine Jenkins, and raise funds for the NHS and Age UK.

So clear those throats, get your phones ready, and get ready to deafen the neighbours! Or why not get them to join in? You can record yourselves singing along to this track (we’d love a video but if you’d prefer not to be seen, just an audio recording will be great).

Here are the words:

'We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when,
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day!
Keep smiling through, just like you always do,
Til the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away!'

Go for it.

When you’re done, send us your video or audio recording here.

We will let you know when the final edit is uploaded to our YouTube channel.

THANK YOU! #inittogether #stayathome
